What the shop does with boots

Most pairs come in for new soles and heels. Once a boot is opened up, the shop also replaces whatever is worn out inside it, so the pair comes back as close to factory condition as it can get.

  • Leather, neoprene, crepe and unit soles, full or half
  • Stacked leather heel bases, heel caps and re-welting
  • Insoles, sock liners, shank springs, heel pads, liners and pulls
  • Shafts taken up or let out, side zippers and Velcro added
  • Exotic skins: lizard, alligator, ostrich, snakeskin
  • Orthopedic build-ups made to a doctor’s prescription

Soles are cut from prime leather tanned in the USA and Italy, or fitted from Vibram, Soletech, Goodyear and Builtright stock.

Premium service

Vintage boot restoration

For boots that matter for more than their price: family heirlooms, keepsakes and western museum pieces.

A restoration can include re-vamping, replacing the skin, relining, re-welting, new soles and heels, replacing ornaments and dyeing. Each pair is different, so restoration is quoted after the shop has seen the boots. Sending photos first helps.

Tulsa shoe rebuilders went over and above expectations on fixing my boots. Someone else had messed them up and tulsa fixed their mess. I can only wander how good they would be if they had done it in the first place. I will never let anyone else but tulsa work on my boots.
